Cajun Pretzels Ingredients:
Seasoned with a super yummy combination of Old Bay seasoning, Ranch seasoning, and cayenne pepper, these tiny pretzels pack a big flavor punch! With a little kick, too ... they're spicy, but not too spicy. They're seasoned juuuuuust right to be addictively delicious, in my book.
To whip up a batch, you'll need:
- Mini pretzel twists - Standard mini pretzel twists provide a good amount of surface area to "catch" the mix of seasoning. Pretzel sticks or other pretzel shapes can be substituted, if you'd like.
- Ranch dip mix- A 1-ounce envelope ofRanch seasoningdip mix seasons the pretzels, providing a nice background flavor.
- Old Bay seasoning - A classic favorite blend of herbs and spices typically used to season seafood, Old Bay brings the Cajun flavor element to the pretzels.
- Cayenne pepper - A small touch of ground cayenne pepper amps up the pretzels' spicy heat! Adjust the amount up or down to suit your personal taste.
- Canola oil - Combined with the seasonings, canola oil helps the seasoning mixture fully coat and adhere to the pretzels.
Cajun pretzels are super easy to make and come together in a flash. Seriously, if you can whisk and turn on an oven, you can make a batch of these tasty little seasoned pretzels.
To get a batch started, simply whisk together someOld Bay seasoning, an envelope ofRanch seasoning, and a bit of groundcayenne pepperwith canola oil. Pour the mixture over pretzel twists, toss to coat, and bake the seasoned pretzels in the oven for about 30 minutes.
That's it! Truly -- easy to make.
Then just pair a handful with an ice cold beer, and you've got the perfect spicy game-day treat.
Enjoy!
